Starr Construction is a proud, multigenerational, family-owned business rooted in Southern New Jersey. Our story began with Charles F. Starr Sr., who dedicated his life to the trades and built a reputation for hard work, honesty, and craftsmanship. Charles Sr. started in 1984, and for over two decades, he earned the trust of countless families and businesses throughout the region. His sudden passing in 2010 was deeply felt by all who knew him, but the legacy he left behind continues to guide us today.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Charles F. Starr Jr. took over the leadership of the company and has continued to grow and expand its offerings. Under his direction, Starr Construction evolved into a full-service general contracting firm with an outstanding reputation for quality workmanship and responsive customer service.
A number of years ago, a third generation has joined the company, with Charles “Chuck” Starr III now serving as an integral part of daily operations and helping to lead the company into the future. With deep local roots and a forward-thinking approach, Charles Starr III brings energy and innovation while honoring the values that have defined Starr Construction for more than 40 years.
